Dear Friend, Hot on the heels of two sell out performances in Paris, The Caracalla Dance Theatre returns to London this summer. On Sunday 1st and Tuesday 3rd August, The Coliseum will be playing host to a 100 strong cast in the spectacular song and dance production of Zayed and the Dream.

Zayed and the Dream tells the legendary tale of Sheikh Zayed - a visionary leader who dreams to unite a disparate region of the Middle East. It is a story of honour, passion and sacrifice. Witness his story, as he crosses the Arabian Desert and lays the foundations for a new nation. With amazing theatrical special effects and the participation of artists from Spain to China, Zayed and the Dream showcases choreography from across the globe. Culturally rich and dazzlingly colourful, history meets art in this sumptuous production.

After a successful run at Sadler’s Wells in 2003 with Two Thousand and One Nights, The Caracalla Dance Theatre is delighted to return to the UK for the 8th time with a production that represents the collective spirit of the mysterious orient. Commissioned by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, Zayed and the Dream aims to encourage the sharing of heritage, traditions and experience.
