The British Lebanese Association was established in 1984 to encourage friendship and understanding between the people of Great Britain and Lebanon and to promote cultural and educational links between our two countries.
Today the British Lebanese Association is the most prominent organisation of its type. In addition to running a scholarship programme which has enabled many Lebanese students to study for a Master’s degree at British universities, we have organised concerts, art exhibitions, film and fashion shows, lectures, book launches and numerous other activities which showcase Lebanon’s extraordinary cultural and artistic achievements. We will continue to organise a wide range of cultural events, as well as raising money to support Lebanese charities and doing all we can to strengthen the ties between our two countries.
We warmly welcome all Lebanese citizens living in Britain and all British citizens with an interest in Lebanon to join our mailing list and take part in our programme of events and activities. We also welcome ideas and suggestions for new events.
